    ATMS stands for Advanced Traffic Management System.  In Indiana an ATMS consists of traffic flow sensors, closed-circuit television cameras, dynamic message signs, highway advisory radio stations, public information websites, and freeway service patrols.  The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) operates an ATMS in the nortwest and central portions of the state.
